2. Mulukhiya, Egypt

Mulukhiya is prepared using the okra and the jute leaves, together they are kept on boil with added garlic and coriander leaves. They are boiled until it turns into a thick, bitter curry. This is often served with bread, rice or any other kind of protein.

3. Akara, Nigeria

This is a deep-fried junk snack which is usually taken for breakfast or lunch. It’s a deep-fried bean cake prepared with crushed black-eyed peas or beans, with added onions and spices. Akara is served with a custard or pepper-filled dipping sauce by the side. It’s a native dish of Nigeria, yet also found in Ghana and Brazil.

4. Bunny Chow, South Africa

Open additional courses in African dance, this time under the direction of Barbara Pitrová that we learn dance from West Africa to the rhythm of Shinto. The dance groups of drummers playing Muerta Mente and TukuTiko E.

 

Lessons take place every Wednesday from 19: 30h at the House of Culture Hell (Coastal 10Pilsen), Hall No. 7.

The price is CZK 50 / hr., Paid always 5h forward, ie. 250Kč.
